We had hoped to have conversations and listen to feedback about ways we can provide care for the community, but at the December 13th zoom conversation verbal threats of physical harm were directed at Sierra Pacific Synod Staff. While we may disagree on some of the issues, I think we can all agree that these threats are unacceptable.
Due to these threats, we have decided to cancel todays conversation with rostered leaders. We are continuing to find a way and a space to continue these important conversations, but we are taking a moment of pause to ensure that we can do this well and with intention.
