Church Communicators Gathering
Monday, February 13th from 10:00-11:00am via Zoom
Calling all church communicators! Are you responsible for the communications in your congregation? Think newsletter, website, social media. If so, this gathering is for you!
Church communicators from across the synod are invited to attend our very first Communicators Gathering on Monday, February 13th at 10:00am via zoom.
This first gathering will center around the topic of Social Media. Are you posting to your church's social media accounts? Have you ever wondered if that photo you took should be posted to Instagram or Facebook? Are you looking to learn more about the ever-growing world of social media?
Join Synod Communications and Connections Coordinator Catherine Slabaugh for this one-hour discussion around social media. Our time together will begin with a presentation, rooted in current market research around how individuals use social media today, and then offer up time for questions and conversations. Lay Leaders, Rostered Ministers, Volunteers, and all are invited to attend!
Click here to join via zoom!
Meeting ID: 872 4906 8705
Please note the conversation around social media will primarily be at an introductory level. Conversation will assume participants are relatively new to using social media in their church, or currently use it minimally.
