Vacant Synod Council Position: Nomination Information

The Sierra Pacific Synod Council is currently accepting nominations for an At-Large Council position, following the resignation of the Rev. Frances Le Bas from this position. This At-Large Council Position will be elected by the Synod Council at their October 15, 2022, meeting and will begin serving immediately. More information on the position and how to nominate an individual, or yourself, can be found below.

We thank Rev. Frances Le Bas for her service on Synod Council in this past year and send blessings to her as she discerns where God is calling her to serve next.

About the Position

• This is an At-Large Position, meaning the nominee can reside anywhere in the Synod and will not serve as a representative of a specific Conference.

• This At-Large Position is open to Rostered Leaders or Lay People.

• This At-Large Position will complete the remainder of the term, serving for 2 years.

• The nominee must be a member of a congregation in the Sierra Pacific Synod.

Please note that all nominations must be submitted by 11:59pm on Thursday, October 13th. If you nominate someone other than yourself, please receive the individual's consent to have their name brought forward.
