Scope of Work
According to Chapter 9 of the Synod Constitution.
There shall be a Nominating Committee consisting of nine members, appointed by the Synod Council in three classes for three-year terms. The Nominating Committee shall monitor the progress and make recommendations about the place of elections in achieving the goal of †S6.04. The Nominating Committee, in consultation with other appropriate groups, shall present nominations for Synod officials (except as otherwise provided), including at-large members of the Council and Synod Churchwide Assembly delegates, and other positions as the Synod Council may designate
